Farewell Hoss I love to watch Bonanza. I watched the Flintstones as Fred was a sheriff of the day and Barney Rubble as a deputy. As they teamed up against notorious brother outlaws and the Cartrocks saved them. My favorite comedian Red Skelton farewell to the greatest funny comedian ever. That's classic comedy show back then.

When Red "lifts" Dan by the lapel, it's obvious that he didn't expect Dan's expertly buoyant hop which caused Red to squelch a laugh. I replayed it about ten times. Amazing, Hoss, just great.

I hadn't heard the name Dan Blocker since I was a kid. But I still remembered who he was, at least as far as the acting role he played on the show Bonanza. A gentle giant slow to anger but once angered there was never any doubt the outcome being in his favor.
