Blooper reel is solid gold. Well done gents. Loved the build series. I'm about to start my '63 GMC and this is the motivation and instruction I needed.

Glad to know even pros have the same scripting and presentation issues beginner me has. lol. Fantastic series. I'm hooked on the channel. Definitely a new favorite!

This host is really good. Stumbled upon this channel while looking for a wiring kit for my ‘66 Chevy and started following more. I dig his talk throughs and his personality is right up my alley. I like the fact that the videos are showing the crew actually figuring things out as you go…..even the mistakes. That’s all part of building these trucks. Keep the vids coming

It needs the 67-72 rear bumper. LOL!

Damn nice ride. I'm glad you kept to the original look with a painted grill and painted bumpers. If you handed Dave a beer to cool down, the Blooper bit would have been shorter.

Great job guys! Nice first start! Sounds awesome! These videos taught this old dawg some new tricks and refreshed my memory for some other processes in a build like this! Whoever owns this rig is going to be riding in style! See you next week David! Thanks again, man!

A secret i found, was if you want to get paint off plastic, use brake fluid. I had a 56 pontiac ambulance that someone spray painted the dash gauges. I use the brake fluid on it and it worked perfectly.

Well that's a fun build. A lot easier to watch than to do it. If you thought that truck was Rusty wait till you see out in Kentucky! And if you want to rebuild every truck on the plant and you can help my grandfather left me as 1965 Chevy camper special years ago. He would drive out into the river and then get out and fish! He fished with some of the big names. He was on the front page of a St Louis newspaper decades ago where he caught two brown sharks out of the Mississippi. Yes it's a true story before they could fake such things with ease. Some of the fish are bigger than he was that he caught. The point is that old truck is Rusty. If you want blank canvas arrest this should be it. But that being said I'm kind of surprised you didn't fix the rest on the head of that truck that you built with your team. I know you got to start and stop somewhere. It does a contrast to what you did fix. My opinion you got enough contrast along the bottom of the truck. But it's a nice ride all the way around. A bumper hitch U-Haul trailer and video you move to Kentucky

I'm suprised you didn't put a 72 rear bumper on there lie you did in another video. The body lines match up soo much better and that's what I did to my truck because of that video
@BROTHERSTruckPartsTV2 жыл бұрын
We're happy to hear we're inspiring people to make subtle changes! We used the 63-66 bumper on this because it's what we had laying around at the time of this shoot. Simple as that.

Quick question. I have a 1972 gmc 3500 that I have a stock 6.0 Ls and a 4l80e that I want to put in it. My plan eventually is to rebuild the Ls to approximately 500hp to the flywheel and have the 4l80e rebuilt to handle the 500hp. Can I use the Holly Terminator X and a stand alone harness for the 6.0 Ls and 4l80e now while it is still stock and then later once they are both rebuilt?

Curious if you guys have links to all the parts used on this build. I’m looking at doing air bags on my 65 c10, would love to know what was used on this build! Thanks Dave!

You can find everything we used in this build on our website www.brotherstrucks.com. We also have an air bag specific video that we're pretty sure has the basic air bag kit link. Search our channel to find it easy.
