1965 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe in Red & 327 / 365 HP Engine Sound on My Car Story with Lou Costabile

On "My Car Story" we're in Burr Ridge IL on 10-28-17 at the Corvette Mike Midwest
We're looking at a 1965 Chevrolet Chevy Corvette Coupe in Rally Red Paint. The 327 (cubic inch) CI engine was chosen with the upgraded engine option of 365 (horse power) HP. This one’s been body on restoration.
We’re talking with Bill Kotzum, one of the Owners of Corvette Mike Midwest. He’s had the dealership since 2004. The company is located at 60 Shore Drive, Burr Ridge, IL 60527 who sells Corvettes.

By 65 the 327 250hp engine I think was stopped being put Vettes in 65 and made the 300 engine the base

Nice Corvette, love these cars. This car has a great color combination. The only thing I would change is that differential ratio. Change it to 3.73 and you are good to go cruising anywhere. Love all the other options, including radio delete.

My mom has had a 65 rally red corvette with red interior has a 327 with a quad barrel holley carb since way before i was born (i'm 28). It's completely original and now i have a 99 corvette in torch red lol.

Lou, this ‘65 Vette is still for sale at Corvette Mike in Anaheim, CA. Its on their website. They had it on BaT up for auction in Q4 2018.
