We're looking at a 1967 Chevrolet Chevy Corvette Stingray Coupe in Marlboro Maroon Paint. The engine 327 (cubic inch) CI and 300 (horse power) HP. This car is a California AIR system car with air conditioning.

Lou: What a nice Corvette! You don't find original survivors like this too often. The emission system the owner stated is the A.I.R system. Which stands for "Air Injection Reactor. This system diverted air into the exhaust manifold to reduce the CO and hydrocarbon emissions. Later on in 1975 a catalyst was added to the exhaust system to further clean up toxic exhaust emissions especially in California where smog is a big problem.

I recently rebuilt a 400 Pontiac engine out of a 67 California Firebird Convertible , it also had the air pump and air conditioning . We put it all back like it came . I own Advantage Engine Restoration , engine machine shop here in Alabama .

anton duntov designed corvettes are something else. i like the ones where the rear window has the roof line running through the middle. what an example of an unrestored air conditioned car. working clock AND original am/fm

Everytime I see a boattail Buick Riviera I think the same thing, they look just like C2 Corvette coupes. I saw a white on white 72 Riviera for sale last year, should have purchased it, love that car.
