Kurt did not play Mosrites that much. He had 2, but the one that *could* have been on Nevermind (a Gospel variant of the Mosrite Ventures Mark V model) was supposedly stolen from him in February 1991. Kurt mostly played Univox Hi Flyers early on, which are Japanese semi-copies of Mosrite Ventures models that don't actually copy the tone - they're their own thing.

How do you mean that the action "wasn't so good?" 1960s Mosrites are supposed to allow some of the lowest action any guitar can have, and I own a 66 model (not this model.) I can put the higher strings so ridiculously close to the fretboard, that it's a wonder why I can do it without fret buzz.
@anthonyrichard461 Жыл бұрын
Glad to hear yours is a good player. The one I played back in the 80 probably needed a set up. Action was pretty high and could not bend notes very well and the sustain OK. Haven't played one in years since. Good Day!@@101Volts
@101Volts11 ай бұрын
@@anthonyrichard461 If the one you played said "Avenger" on it anywhere, it wasn't a USA-Built model. But it may have not been that way, only jus tin need of a set-up. The note bending is kind of normally difficult on the 1960s spec models, being that those ones have low fretwire that's not very rounded (crowned) on the top. The 1960s spec fretwire is usually flat. They made the fretwire taller starting in the early 1970s.
