In those days, there were more people in Ranji matches than in international matches ❤❤❤.

Vow to see the crowd! I remember as I kid i used to go to Central college grounds and other grounds to watch first divison matches to watch Vishy, Chandra, Pasanna, Brijesh Patel, B Vijaykrishna...I remember having gone once to a match and found Vishy not playing, it was frustrating, disapponting and a sad day! I had to travel in the city bus (BTS as it was called), and walk for nearly an hour and half. Mobilsing Money for the bus ticket wasnt an easy task!

Wonderful AV Sir.. Clear visuals... Never knew that Bapu Nadkarni could bat so well.. Always thought of him as a parsimonious bowler .... Also seeing the stylish Hyd captain Jaisimha it begs the question how Hyderabad never won a Ranji Trophy final under his captaincy.. Guess one of the many imponderables of cricket of bygone days... Hard core domestic cricket enthusiasts may enjoy reading Third Man a book by noted cricketer V Ramnarayan which paints the glory days of domestic cricket of 1970s in beautiful prose..What captivating cricket times the 1960s and 1970s were...

Unable to believe the crowd size; nowadays most of international matches do not attract such a crowd size. Wish I was born in that era; things seems much simpler then

Wonder who is the right hand quick bowler towards the end of the clip? Looks pacy by the Indian standards of that time.

Seems to be Manohar Hardikar... A right arm medium pacer..looks well built..Can't be Ramakant Desai who was short in height but lion hearted medium fast bowler...
