1966 Cadillac Fleetwood 429 engine.

Freshened up a pretty rough 1966 Cadillac Eldorado engine. Stripped the block and heads, painted everything, machined timing cover to make flat, aftermarket valve covers and valley pan, carburetor to fuel injection conversion, socket head cap screws and black washers through out.

Stock 429, 340 hp gross. requires premium fuel. Father had a 65 Calais Coupe, fast car.

Where did you get the valley pan and valve cover s at? I'm fixing to upgrade my 1967 Cadillac 429, with fuel injection set up like what you have done. Great job my man. How much to do mine like that. I like it!!!!👍👍👍😁

I love doing these engines. Unfortunately I do not remember where I found the valve covers nor the valley pan cover. I have a huge amount of suppliers so Im sure I could find it again. I have my Dad's original owner 1967 Caddy deVille convertible. 196k miles. It was 30+ years ago that the engine was rebuilt at about 125k miles. Is it really worth the money and effort to install an Edelbrock EFI ? My engine builder is recommending it. Regular engine 429 rebuild is around $5800 and to install the EFI is another $4000. The car is pretty much a NY daily driver and I plan on keeping the car until I kick the bucket.

Mark Beecher the cover as you see it did not come that way. We painted it black and surfaced all of the fins ourselves. I can try to find who we sourced it from and get back to you.

self experience with holley projection fuel injection. full of shit. eventually i only used it for throttle body. I did a working fuel injection of Megasquirt MS2, nozzles in the intake manifold.
