1966 Chevrolet Belair TRANSFORMED! From FORGOTTEN in a Field to FIXED & ENJOYED! (Car Restoration)

I sold these two cars back in June, a 1966 Belair and 1966 Impala parts car, to a guy in Minnesota named Chris and he has taken it upon himself to put this car back on the road and document it all on video for us, so that we could see the progress being made to this once-forgotten classic Chevy. I delivered the impala parts car to him and he picked up the belair from my house, which was in a previous video. He has done a ton of work to it and now its back on the road and being enjoyed again!

What a great rescue. I think that those old rims really pop once painted and the interior is beautiful . What a pile of space under the hood. Allowing for easy access for repairs. Geez those old Chevies are sweet.

Well I have a 1965 impala sedan that I Daily and wish I could restore it,iowa roads have been rough on the shot suspension and ball joint,I love the car just don't have alot of money to put in to it,I want to make it to the point where I can travel across country Muliple time and not give much of a issues.

It’s the new owner’s car and not mine, but 1) I’d finish the brake overhaul with a 2-reservoir master cylinder, and 2) convert the 3-speed off the column to a floor shifter.

Oh, and I know there’s a ton of scrap GM cars, (because they aren’t great cars) but maybe find the rare ford that isn’t running and work on that? Theres a reason we bailed out GM and still haven’t gotten our money back. Not really a hater, just tired of GM.
