I enjoyed owning this car for the past 5 years, but it didn't get used much anymore so it was time to pass it to a new owner.

If that's all it took to end this relationship then it wasn't a strong relationship to begin with.

Glad you found a good home for her. I just saw your winter night drive with her a few years back. Thanks for sharing!

That was by far the nicest car you had.

I'm going to miss seeing it in new videos, but judging by that big grin on his face, it went to a good home. I look forward to seeing your next project. Your videos are what KZbin used to be, no click bait, you read the title, that's what your getting.

Hate to see it go but sometimes it’s best to pass it on to the next guy.

Sad to see it go, but I can completely understand. I'm close to sending a few down the road too. Hope things are going well Tyler. Take care and happy wrenching 🔧🔩

I have enjoyed seeing this car come back to life and get back on the road. Like other cars on this channel, they tend to move on, but there are other cars to work on and enjoy.

I'm at that age where I understand time isn't unlimited anymore.

Wow, would have loved to have that car! I had a '66 Fury III hardtop (same 'C' body) in the '80s/early '90s, and it was the VERY BEST riding car we have ever had!

Your picking this car up on Keel Mtn was the beginning of my exposure to this channel.

I was sad to see it go too, I really liked that car. I sold my 73 Roadrunner in 1992, and ive regretted it ever since. But I do understand that sometimes it is necessary. Yes, time to start a new chapter. At least we can go back to old videos and drive with the old girl looking at the Christmas lights.

I know it’s always a good feeling when you select a new owner that will be a good caretaker for it.

I think it went to a good home. He already has a 1958 Christine Plymouth that he built, and several other Mopars.

I'm friends with Tony, I knew that car looked familiar when he posted it on fb!

That's him! He's going to change it around some but I think he has good ideas.

Yep I get it..... After getting enjoyment out of a classic, it's always nice to move onto something else. It's expensive to insure, maintain and store a vehicle..... Very few people can afford to keep a fleet of classic cars that are roadworthy...... I know I can't!

Hopefully they keep it looking original with such low miles on the chassis

I'm surprised that you sold the car, but I understand that you can only have so many projects. You aren't Jay Leno.

Like the other comments, I'm surprised that you were selling this car and let it go. Figured this one would hang around with you much longer. Least you know it's going to a good home and that's what matter most. Any updates on the Olds?
@TylersNeighborhoodGarage Жыл бұрын
The Olds is going to go away soon also. I will probably post that one on here in case someone wants to take it on.

Once I take a car as far as it will go I usually end up selling them so I can have an excuse to do it all over again haha, that's the cycle

I enjoyed meeting Tony. I think the deal was sealed when we stopped for gas during the test drive and someone stopped and asked him about the car!
