Lovely machine. Was never meant to be a daily driver, or maybe it had been restored after serving so many years as one. Respect for taking such good care of this one.

I had a '67 in 1970 that was the same color. 400 Turbo 400 and it had a lot of options. Disc brakes, power everything and AC. I would love to have that car today !

I believe this GTO is a 67. One of my high school buddys had exactly this car ,same Color, same everything! That Pontiac was super quick and low to ground, so it conererd Like on rails.

Grew up with a '66 LeMans, almost the same color, same engine, automatic. Beautiful car.

The tragic part is that this beauty will never be used for what it was born to be... a daily driver.

@@jetsgardner5490 My list is to long, carburetors and points are a pain in the butt. I'm retired now so driving an old car daily would be OK, but if I was still spending three hours a day commuting to work like I did for the 20 years before I retired, the last thing I would choose to do it in would be an old car.

Love it. I had a 66' LeMans convertible with the smaller 326 2bbl but it had a factory four-speed and posi. Even that was quick and fun to drive. But I would love a 66' GTO convertible

Almost bought one in1979. Guy wanted 900 for it. Beautiful Pontiac. Loaded. He was having dinner and said come back in an hour. And we'll go for a ride. Low and behold someone came after me and gave him the 900. No big deal. Next day I bought a 70 SS 454 Chevelle Cowl Induction 4spd M-22.

I'd rather have the GTO I had a 67 GTO and later a 67 SS 366 The SS was faster but the GTO was a better driver so according to what you want

RIght! I thought no one would catch that. The Rally II's it is wearing didn't debut until '67. Rally I's were the factory correct wheels. Between the two, I like the II's better thought, I must admit.

Sadly due to the BABVVO laws from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station fuel pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime :-(//()/()/()/()

old cars will not go away. They will go the way of the horse. once reliable transportation replaced by something newer with supposed benefits to become an expensive hobby for those who can afford to keep them alive. There may be some hoops to jump through but they will still be around for us to see, hear and enjoy

It's an "OK" Goat, but the wheels are wrong, the steering wheel is wrong, a stereo in the glove compartment?? The left valve cover is on backwards (the hump should be at the rear), the exhaust pipes should be even with the backup lights......I'm sure there are other faults......... However, it could be brought back to STOCK configuration.
