Nice easy replacement. Think I’ll clean my wires up as well. Just a quick hint. I noticed you still have the original breather on your 200 6 cylinder. I’ve had my 66 mustang 6 cylinder for over 30 years. I decided to change a few thing and found a chrome breather on line at Kentucky Mustang in Mount Sterling, KY. Best 40 buck I spent, the car can breath now and you can tell a difference. The closed factory breather just don’t let that single bbl carb work like it can. Wish I had done the swap years ago.

I applaud you for working on the wiring. If you don't have one, I recommend you purchase an inexpensive multi-meter that has a continuity function. Invaluable. Carry on!

Thanks for the video Ray it helped me put similar harness on a V8. One thing does the car have to be running to get pressure gauge to work? Oh and the right hand relay terminal goes to the starter motor not ground!!

Great video!! Helped me fix my problems in the dash! Do you have a video for changing the brake light wires and fuel gauge wires?
@autoraysgarage89382 жыл бұрын
I didn’t need to change the fuel gauge wire so don’t have a video on that but I did do a video on replacing fuel sending unit in the tank. I also didn’t have to run new brake light wires mines where already there and still working

Cool man! Hey I forgot to thank you for helping me out with my idle screws! I got it under better control now. Although I think the carb needs to be rebuilt. Hey when you changed the harness, did your lights get brighter or does it run smoother? Just curious. Thanks for the videos and keep up the good work!

The redline lumtronix will definitely make the headlights brighter because its now pulling power directly from the battery, and the new halo headlights helped as well cause they are way brighter than the stock style bulbs that was on the car already
