No. Shelby's personal Super Snake 427 Cobra was sold to Jimmy Webb (i.e., the one in the video). The guy who bought the other Super Snake from Cosby promptly drove it off a cliff and was killed.

Apologies for the delay in responding, for only recently did I get a notification about your comment. To answer your question, I referenced the fourth edition of "The World Registry of Cobras and GT40s." It states that it was this car, chassis CSX 3015 that was sold to Jimmy Webb. Cosby's car was CSX3303, and he owned it for a very short period of time before telling Shelby to come get it as he was scared to drive it. It was the sold by a Shelby dealer, and the new owner had a very strange fatal accident in it. CSX3303's story becomes pretty convoluted after that, for it sounds like it was pretty crunched in the accident, though the remains of what as left still exist. This would actually make a great follow up video on what exactly constitutes "a car," and what constitutes the "real/actual car"...

​@@SundudeCAN Theres quite few storyes about what happened to 3303. I personaly hope it was restored. "It’s rumored that an English collector, Rod Leach, picked up the nearly-totaled car in the 1980’s, replacing both Paxtons with two turbochargers and a custom hood, also giving it a personalized license plate that read “COB-1,” but other sources state that car was totaled in that accident, with Maxey dying from his injuries a few days after this. Other source, however, states that Brian Angliss, the successor entity owner of AC Cars, purchased the car (if we assume that it was almost totaled), restored the car, and plans to sell it at an auction, but Cosby states that he heard that Jimmy Webb (from “MacArthur Park”) eventually received his Cobra." Other source I found: "I can fill in the some of the details about CSX3033. The car did indeed crash and was "destroyed". The car went off a cliff on HWY 1 in california, killing the driver. The car was then totaled and parted out. Remember though, that in the mid 70's these cars were not worth much and so totaled did not neccesarily indicate that it was truly destroyed. The engine, trans, rear end, and suspension was sold and subsequently used to build a hotrod that went on to win the Oakland roadster show. The chassis and title were purchased by a friend of mine through his business at the time, Cobra Performance (no longer in business). He is a well respected cobra owner and restorer and has owned numerous cobras since 1966. He sent the mangled chassis to AC cars to have the chassis rebuilt. When he got the chassis back from AC he then sold it. I am not sure of whether it was just a chassis, a roller, or a complete car. The car bounced around a bit and is currently owned by Sir Anthony Bamford. You may know that name if you watch Victory by Design which has used of a ton of his cars for its features. They are listed as his name or under JCB Excavators. The car was restored and for a while was done as a standard 427SC. I believe that he has recently aquired the original engine, suspension, trans etc. that had been used to build the hotrod. The car is now either done or soon to be in the Twin Supercharged configuration from its glory days."

@@antssaar863 The CSX3303 is in Australia. It is no longer owned by Bill Cosby...the guy in this video saying this is the only AC Cobra Super Snake is wrong...I believe there is 2 of them....the one owned by Carrol Shelby and the other one in Australia that was previously owned by Bill Cosby.
