When you're riding around, just keep looking in peoples back yard. I've found three that are being used as storage sheds. You never know... $200 cash looks like a lot of money to some people, especially if they're using a VW bus as a storage shed. lol.

You'll probably want to go with a '68 or later (bay window) simply because they're much less expensive. They use the Beetle style engines through 1971. 1972 through 1979 they switched to the more powerful (but more expensive to maintain) Type 4 engines.

Unfortunately, they're getting hard to find... and stupid expensive. Just keep an eye out. You may just stumble upon one.
