Beautiful!!!!!! I have a 1973 Coupe Deville with the 472 motor in it all original and in mint condition. Trust me when you drive any classic Cadillac you are gonna turn heads on the highway. Can't wait to see it after you finish patching it up. I love all the classic Fleetwoods from 1965-1975.

Yep, I have a '67 Fleetwood Sixty Special. They are the ultimate cruisers, although a convertible Coupe de Ville is right up there. :)

Wow! When the 429 went in mine (due to true duals with no backpressure no less! She now has a pair of glasspacks lol) I toyed with the idea of dropping a 500 in.. but no, I liked the look of the 429 with its old school design, so rebuilt it.. But I bet yours hauls butt now! Great ride !

Thanks Z! 46 years is long time to be around :) I am 43 and I am already starting to find things that need to be fixed :) I'm ready to pull the 429 and put in the 500ci. Just saving money to get some parts, brackets, pulleys etc.. I'll keep you posted on here :)

Very nice unrestored example. I just bought a '66 Fleetwood in similar condition.

Thank you very much. This is my dream car and have always wanted one :) I pulled out the 429 and put a 500 in over the summer. It's still a project and moving along slowly :) I will post the progress soon. Take care and thanks for watching and commenting. Blessings, Matt

Thanks a lot Brian. Yep this ol girl doesnt have seat belts. I will weld some in so my kiddos can cruise with me :). What year do you have? Is it a Fleetwood too? The interior on this car is all original and absolutely beautiful minus the musky smell. The door drains were clogged before I got it and I think it leaked in a bit. Kinda adds to the experience. Take care,

Beautiful Fleetwood! I'd like to see it when it's done. A good color combo too. I have the same paisley interior but with the Marina Blue poly exterior. The only differences with my interior are the lack of foot rests/tray tables of the Brougham and mine has factory rear seat belts (not sure if that was a dealer option?). Good luck on the restoration!

How much does an unrestored car like that go for? I have one that has body rust and cracked windshield but otherwise intact. One owner.

+Kevin Kerr Hey Kevin, It's hard to say. This car was in pretty rough shape, but I did a 429 to 500ci conversion on it. I still only got $3500 for it. Had it been a coupe than I would have been better off. Good luck!
