@@original.dwornboy I just meant the specific team of people behind their KZbin channel and archives. Clearly there are people putting thought into what archived material they are converting into digital content for us to enjoy. I wanted to recognize them and thank them, there’s a lot of work that goes into archiving and digitally remastering anything. A lot of archived material you see here is likely physical strips of tape being converted one by one into an HD format and then paired with the original tape audio re-recorded in super high quality.

I like how British scifi encourages kids to use their imaginations. They were still doing that in the 80s with the UK Transformers comics. (They had a design a Transformers contest) They never did such a thing in the US comic! (I could get both in Canada)

I have a serious question: what does "low-key" mean? I've heard younger people say this, but never understood the meaning
@DrSeaDevil5 ай бұрын
@@SJHFoto Well the internet says: Low-key can variously mean “quiet,” “restrained,” “moderate,” or “easygoing.” It can also behave as an adverb meaning “of low or moderate intensity.” Like doing something, but in a “chill” way. For instance: We're having a party at my place but keeping it low-key so the neighbors don't complain.

The comment about the foot and mouth epidemic brought a lot of memories back to me. I was 6 but remember the disinfectant everywhere on the farm and on the road. Our herd were spared but my uncle's were all slaughtered. Then when he restocked later on they too were culled because of the disease. The next outbreak was not until 2001 when I was much more involved in fighting it and the emotional and financial consequences.
