I miss my -67 LTD with the 428... Here in Finland, 40 years ago, it was a rare car for a young man. My pride and joy. Took all my money, but it was worth it.

I was a kid when these cars were out. My uncle was some muckaty muck for Hertz. When he visited I saw these cars in many colors . My dad had his new Buick Riviera GS traded every 2/3 years so I thought we had old car compared to my Uncle.

Pretty advanced having that extra information module down there for locking the doors, seat belts all that stuff that looks like Lincoln Continental kind of stuff for a regular Ford pretty cool way advanced for the time!

For looks, best Ford lineup, hands down. In specific, having owned 2 '67 Mustangs, I prefer that year to the '68s because it didn't have the side markers, the (subjectively) ugly wood interior, and that chunky steering wheel. A slow march toward more governmental control.

The 1st guy on this video I know him from getting his butt kicked from making fun of another actor in his comedy routine. Carson did the same also, but, was able to talk his butt out of that beating. The actor who was the target of jokes was Wayne Newton. Stevenson, & Carson ceased ASAP from making those jokes.

Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they even want to slow down all the gas pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime. Called Bundesabgasbespaßungsverordnung in German.... :-( /(&&&
