They don’t make tractors like this anymore. Things are just bulletproof.

My dad's main tillage tractor when I was growing up was a 1967 806 and my uncle had a 1964 806. Love em!

Baled thousands of round bales with a 806. I really miss those days

Just waiting to get back to work. Good old tractors.

Look at that. It started faster than a computer would have booted up on a new one!

Ah it feels so good having the feeling of something like this tough ol girl starting after sitting outside having not run under it’s own power for 10 years I’ve got an old ‘55 caterpillar D4u sitting in the shed for about 20-30 years without running that was my grandfather’s Too see another old tractor starting in a way is a good feeling

Blah blah blah the poor starter motor that poor starter cables oh shut up you assholes don't know anything, good God they're not that fucking delicate

I think the oil almost got circulted before starting
@IanHotson4 ай бұрын
And that would be a good thing! After I changed the oil in some of our heavy diesels I would leave the fuel shut off crank it until I saw oil pressure then I'd let her have some fuel! Right or wrong that's the way I used to do it LOL

Good God how delicate you think a fucking starter motor is? If that's all it takes to kill it well then you're buying the wrong brand of equipment
@josephcommisso94253 жыл бұрын
Sounds like he has no glo warmers.thats the usual way to start them. Glo plugs save on your starter, not cheap to repair. Better off two starting it, that's how I would of done it
@aldenbullard19793 жыл бұрын
How do you use glow plugs that don’t exist? Most old equipment didn’t have them and this tractor was just getting some air out of her injection lines before she busted off
@jeffekkel5870 Жыл бұрын
The early 706's, 656's, 660's, 560's and anything else with the 282 diesels had indirect injection with glow plugs. The 806's and 1206's were direct injection thus no glow plugs. Many of the smaller diesels of that era were also indirect injection. I would say these 806's have dang good starters though! LOL

Should have pulled start it rather than burning the starter and the battery
@IanHotson4 ай бұрын
If it has a torque amplifier how the fuck do you think you're going to pull start that mother fucker you could pull that cocksucker 90 times around the planet and you're not going to get it to start and the other thing is how fucking delicate do you think a starter motor in a battery is ? Do you have any mechanical abilities or knowledge at all? Never mind I know the answer
@rudycarlson8245 Жыл бұрын
Should’ve used a little summer in a can! probably would’ve started a little bit faster!

@IanHotson4 ай бұрын
If it's got a torque amplifier you can tow that fucking thing to the Moon and back and it ain't going to start
