On my mother's wedding day my uncle drove my mother to the church in a gold 67 pontiac Lemans just like this 1 in the video. She started to cry because she remembers that day like yesterday when I showed her this video she got so happy 😊 because it reminds her of that important day and my dad , even tho my dad passed away she still remembers that gold pontiac Lemans. Nice car I wish pontiac didn't go away such a beautiful time when American cars had so much personality and style.

Bought this car in 1980 for $550 bucks when I was 15 years old. Midnight blue convertible. I had to replace the original black top with a white one. had a blast in high school with this head turner. I would love to find another one.

Passed my driver's test in a 65 tempest wagon 326 4 barrel,power rear window seat belts delete gto hood and spinner hubcaps, turquoise in and out .too bad I was into first Gen camaros and moms wagon was sold but in the 80s I knew it was rare but anything with 4 doors and tailgate was overlooked. Mom would go to jewel for groceries and car show happening across street would have guys leaving and coming over to see this Pontiac wagon.

That Lamont is in perfect condition pristine the only detail is is it the antenna actually supposed to mount in the right rear quarter panel Only The Tempest had it in the front fender❤❤😊

I owned a beautiful 67 Lemans with the 4 barrel 326 and powerglide. I always thought the big red 326 on the front fenders looked good, but I found that people looked down on my car because it didn't have the popular 389 or 400. to me it didn't matter. It would hold first gear all the way to about 72 mph before shifting to high. With dual glass packs I thought it was hot. What more could you ask for, being a senior in high school with a low milege Lemans.

Pontiac Rally rims. Try OPGI in CA. They are not to far off PCH in Seal Beach. It would have never had letter tires. Most likely a black wall or white wall tire not sure if you could get a Redline on this model as a option. A white wall would have been extra cost.

I had a 66 with a 326 V8 with a factory Hurst with a 4 speed. I paid $350.00 for it in 1977. I wish I had it back. I don't know what I was thinking about when I sold it. I wish that I could afford one now. Foolishness!

This car was not properly restored; the tires are incorrect.

Last thing I would worry about is a set of redline tires or polyglass.good years.,easy fix for a trailer queen.bias ply tires were period correct but so were front drum brakes.

Had a 65 lemans coupe back in 87, never should have sold that car. Interior same color as this, in mint condition. Yiu will find lemans and tempest didnt live as hard a life as a GTO and are in better survior condition
