Love this car! I had a white four door with 400 4 barrel 1967.

1. Remove the engine chrome and detail compartment. 2. Locate and install an OEM steering wheel. 3. Throw away those valve stem caps. 4. Investigate what sounds like a valve tapping when starting the engine. 5. Fix the right side brake lights. Other than that from what I see it's a beautiful car. I bought a teal green 1965 four door Catalina with a 389 back in 1976 for $400 and it passed Md. Inspection (when I slipped the inspector a $50..shhhh). What a boat it was but I loved it and it drove like it floated on air and never had any real problems with it.

Could it be that it needs to have 40 weight oil run in it? My 67 Grand Prix Convertible always taps unless I run 10W40 in it. Not because it has anything wrong with the engine(428HO). Just rebuilt with 3K miles, just how it runs. Same with the other 67 Grand Prix I have with the 400 in it. Always has been that way with every Pontiac I have every owned. All GP's. All 4 of them...All '67's...

Note Car was inspected by Lemon Busters on my request. Nothing works. Only gas gauge works, Top doesn,,t work. 400 ci engine/incorrect motor. No heat No AC Bad brakes, front suspension problems.Gateway should be ashamed to list this car!!!

That doesn’t look like a 428 ,get wrid of the ghetto cruiser interior look,not original paint either,mine was all original 4 speed hood tach 428 Tirol blue white interior and top that was stolen from me
