Awesome video I just ordered my kit to do this. Two questions for you. I had been thinking of installing a headlight relay so the power isn’t coming the whole way from the switch, so correct me if I’m wrong but is that not necessary now that I’m installing this kit and it already has a relay? Also should the bottom running lights shut off when you flip the switch from Park to On?
@ScottsSpeedShop
@ScottsSpeedShop 3 жыл бұрын
You won't need a secondary relay, and the running lights should come on separately than the headlights

Greetings Scott, What color is your dad's Charger? Was it factory? Mine is similar, the guy I bought it from said it was original...but I cannot find a color or code for '68 Charger R/T... Thank you in advance... Mike
@ScottsSpeedShop
@ScottsSpeedShop 10 ай бұрын
This 68 Charger was originally GG1 and we painted it like Dad's 69 Charger with R4 Bright Red paint, the 68 equivalent would be PP1 I believe, which is still Bright Red, but a different shade.
@navygse1
@navygse1 10 ай бұрын
@ScottsSpeedShop GG1? Wow, that was a super cool and super rare metallic green...awesome. I "thought" mine was Hemi Orange...but that was not an option as body color until late '69. Unfortunately, my car was rescued from a SC farm field sans any build sheets and fender tag... I had thought it was "Tor" red...but met a guy with a fully original Mopar and it was a light "Charger Red" and nothing like my orange. Still, not a big deal as mine is a RestoMod not a concurs restoration...the eng and trans were long gone... Thank you and keep up the great videos!
