Beautiful example. Thanks for sharing. No Bumperettes! That would have topped it off!

The only other Corvette Bronze '68 Camaro that I can remember seeing , was the Z/28 race car " The Old Reliable " driven by the late Dave Strickler . L89 Camaro production numbers were 272 for '68 .

@@Thumper68 if your car had the eight injector stack inserts , it's because somebody that owned that car prior to you had changed them . Only the big block cars got the stacks in '68 . In '69 both 350 and 396 cars got the stacks .

@@bobbrinkerhoff3592 So you’re incorrect I’m sorry to inform you and I don’t want to be rude. The early 1968 model year SS350 continued to receive the 1967-style finned hood trim through October. Beginning in November 1967, the SS350 transitioned to the velocity stack trim (same as the SS396).

@@Thumper68 Sorry to inform you of this , but your source is wrong . Being as I'm just a bit older than you , I can attest to the fact that I saw brand new '68 SS 350 cars with the fins in the spring of '68 . How do I know they were not leftover cars is simple . They were painted in both Lemans blue and Rallye green , two colors that like the pictured Corvette bronze , didn't become available until after January 1st , 1968 . Depending on websites for information can be a tricky thing .
