Duane Tiny Benedix looks 57 not 37. Crazy how people aged differently back then.

This was fantastic to watch on a Friday afternoon. Thanks for posting it! I enjoyed the setups... minimal if any jockeying for position and 3 minutes spent grandstanding. Set up, pull, done! That first match was something you'd expect to see in the Over the Top movie! Back and forth. Can't wait to see more like this!

The people back then for some reason looked better physically and had some great matches too, more sense of community too with the audience too, some names there I need to watch more of from all different weight categories

Mickie Novas didn’t feel this coverage was particularly flattering. It’s one of the reasons why she never returned to defend her title.

@@GTIngold I suspect the pin bar was added to make the pins easier to call and they wanted the contest to appear more organized. Because the objective in wristwrestling is to pin your opponent to your forearm, you can be tempted to lift your forearm off the table. Just speculating. In any event, they quickly ditched the pin bar. Whether it’s because there were injuries or people just didn’t like them, I’m not sure…
