I remember our neighbor's 69 white impala convertible, a beautiful car with a 350, buckets, and a black interior. Would be thrilled to have that car today.

My 69 Impala Custom was the best car I ever owned. Had a 255 HP 350 4 barrel and got 23 MPG. Drove it for 130,000 miles and never had a problem
@peteshea80104 жыл бұрын
23? Never happened. My family had the high compression (more efficient) "300 HP" 350 coupled to the TH350 automatic and fuel saving 2.73 axle ratio. In town driving was in the 11 MPG range. We once took a long trip from New England to Indiana in that car, with my father intentionally averaging 60 MPH. 21 MPG was the result.

Thanks for taking my request Jeff. This is a nice Impala. I was a little surprised when I first saw that it didn't have power brakes. I think all Impala's of this era should have had them standard as well as power steering but none the less this is a nice example of my all time favorite car. Thanks again and happy holidays.

Glad you like it my friend. It needs a few little things tweaked, but it's already a really nice car. Happy Holidays to you too!

Chevy didn't offer a 327 4 barrel in their full size 1969 models. The sole 327 offering that year was a low compression two barrel rated at 235 Gross HP (figure 160 HP or so by today's SAE Net standards).

my dream is to have a 67 Chevy Impala, not because of the supernatural series, but because I love the sound of the engine it produces, unfortunately I'm not rich and I'm Brazilian, with família problems :-/

Nice looking convertible, not a bad price either. For 1969, Chevrolet improved the look of the tail lights from the 68 Chevys. It was a nice looking car but lacked the more distinctive styling of the late 50s and early 60s Chevys. Too bad it doesn't have the original steering wheel but overall a pretty nice car for the money.

The 70 Chevelle 454 SS is one of my all-time favorite cars too. The Tucker will probably be pretty hard to find....I think they only made about 50 of them. If I ever see one, I'll sure film it though. Thanks for watching!
