The dash looks good. Sure the corners could look better, but you definitely improved the looks of the dash by painting it and adding and recovering the dash pad. The Atoto and single din head unit make a big difference!

Doing my 69 now. You are an inspiration. Cant wait to see how you solve "Our" heater core problem. I had the original radiator recored and they blew up my tank on top. Cost me $ 975.00 a big mistake !😮
@clunkersandclassics17 сағат бұрын
That's why I bought a new rad off ebay for $100 and made it fit. Just ordered a heater core that might work.

Congrats on achieving 20k subs! Yeah, we all wanted you to order enough padding and vinyl to cover it in one piece. It turned out okay. You are making significant progress on the van.

Dash looks spot on, it's not like it was done at a pro shop. It looks good for what it's restoring. The van ain't gonna be a pro resto.

Congrats on the subscribers and what you're doing. Personally, I wouldn't bother with all the tech stuff in the van, a good CD would suffice! Looking forward to the final fit out and respray.

Thanks. I got it for free so figure I'd try it out.

It just seems to get better and better as you go. The size of that roll of material falls right in line with the seams in the dash where they put the corners on the thing.

Hey Lee . Maybe a little project for between and building a heater for your shop what run on used Motoroil. Simple to build with junk lying around and in your case free heat .

Who actually thought a old van had something called upholstery..,?..
@glennbignell7 сағат бұрын
Maybe could have done the dash cover in 2 halves and mounted the screen bracket/arm on top to cover the seam. Looks good enough anyway 👍🏻

Maybe you should watch sprayway do a dash he has lots of KZbin videos on dashboard repairs.
