The car's Owner is Andrew McQueen. Andrew is the Owner of Scottsdale Muscle Car where he buys, fixes, and sells cars. Today we see this Muscle Car he has for sale with a Ram Air IV engine and 4 speed transmission. The car looks GREAT!

I am restoring a one owner verdoro green 69 GTO, my wife owns it, her mother bought the car new, I have replaced almost every panel on the car, unfortunately it was a northern IL car and parked on a dirt floor barn for 25 yeats before I rescued it. currently working on the chassis, money is the biggest hold up, these aren't cheap to restore properly.

Lou, as a detailer I am always interested in what waxes/applications/techniques are used in the restoration and maintenance of the trophies you feature. Back in High School a friend of mine had the same color car with hide away lights but had the standard 400 in it. He was rear ended sitting at a stop light and the car was totaled. This is one nice car!

What a nice looking Goat. I had a 67, 68, 69, and now I have an 06 M-6 which is modified. My 68 was the Verdoro green. All of my cars were not stock. Cracks me up when they talk about how hard installing the front bumper was. I resto'd my 68 and 69 and had no issues with removing/installing the front bumper. There is a trick to it though. Very nice car there Lou. Out in Goodyear myself.

RAIV, 4 speed. Very nice. (Never heard anyone state the 041 cam to be "smooth", but I guess it beats the idle of an all out solid lifter race cam). Curious why the interior door panels, don't have the GTO badging? Thought it to be a 69 Goat mandate. Maybe only on a deluxe interior??? Also was disappointed to not see the rally gauge package. Sure this car started off as a true GTO? And by the way, the cowl tag, is not a vin tag, which is on the dash. That will state whether the car is actually a real GTO. Looks like a fun car, none the less. Thanks for sharing.

I'm not sure if this 69 is authentic. The highest rated engine the Ram Air IV usually had chrome lettering on the side of the scoops. The tach was usually on the hood but not always but a 4 gear without a tach and no GTO markings in the interior. Very suspicious.

That cam is not a Ram Air IV, no way, no how! Go elsewhere to a video and listen to an original Ram Air IV idle and a RA III you too will say that this car sounds like a 744 RA III cam rather than RA IV 041. Big difference in the two sounds. Just saying.....

Lovely GTO. The door panels were replaced because they should have the GTO emblem on them. I thought this maybe an original WW block but the close-ups show no engine markings where they should be. WW blocks are as scare as hens teeth nowadays. Love to see the PHS on this car to see if in fact it is a "real" RAIV car has the owner claims. If it is, then it is worth a lot of money.

Yes, this and a few other things about this car in the video I don't take at face value whatsoever. This guy needs to prove these things if it is a RAlV. Decode the Cowl tag, Provide the PHS documentation, Verify all the components like the Block , Dist, Carb, Intake, Exh manifolds, alt markings, Trans & Diff tag . Make sure there is no "re-stamp #'s crap going on, which a lot of times there are. Each piece should have a clear SN / PN dated coded etc. Too often these "car flippers" don't take the necessary time to do this quality work for the buyer, and these cars deserve the extra time for heritage sakes.

Dollars to donuts this is my 69 that was done by jjj GTOs before they left Ft lauderdale florida. I'm almost 100% sure for you don't see power steering, power antenna, no console, no hood clock GTOs, that are ram air IVs. The exhaust tips are also a give away. My car was also a 433 geared m21 car which again not many were built (with good reason). My car was also a replacement block (which I bet many were).I bet andrew doesn't have the original documentation for I do and still do when the Feds took the car from me in 2001
