@@CoryAtRandom ,I've had it about 10 years and never had it on the road . It wasn't running when I got it but was complete without the fueltank. Had it taken to a Porsche / VW shop and they got it running and drove it on the road. I drove it in the yard twice. Shop owner says it has lots of power .I was told by shop owner that it has rare dual carbs and linkage . I was told by previous owner that a Porsche clutch was installed because VW wouldn't work. I may be interested in selling it . I honestly don't drive it but love the car . When the 917 was at the guys shop , he said many people daily asked about it. It needs painted and had new floor pan installed before I bought it. It sits in my carport . Not many of these cars left. It definitely a headturner.

I hate it when they don't put proper wheels and tires on these Kits they look like low riders with Hydraulics that can dance at stop signs!

No it is a kit car from the 70s. I was a kid and in love with the Porsche 917 and that kit came out. I had planned to get a bug for my first car and buy the kit and build it. Things didn’t work out, the parents got a divorce and mom took me away from dad so it never happened for me.
