I had one of these one of the best body styles of Cadillac, there is so much room in the back of these cars...75 and 76 also good year's

When I was a teenage grocery bagger in Pasadena, CA in the late 1970s, a chauffeur driven burgundy and black 1970 Fleetwood would arrive weekly at the market. That was one impressive car which looked even better with a chauffeur in uniform.

I owned a early 1980's model Fleetwood which I purchased 25 years ago at a police auction those days for around two thousand dollars. It was awesome and in great shape. I wish I had kept it. Those are the true American cars. They are a great part of Americas history and I hope people will continue to take care of what ever is left of these great vehicles.

My uncle had a 70 DeVille convertible and I remember that car floated over the road so much smoother than any vehicle at any price point today. This Caddy is amazing. Reminds me of the Fleetwood I rode in as a ring boy at my cousin's wedding in '76.

I used to look at Cyrus' Eaton 's maroon metallic 1970 Fleetwood w. black vinyl roof drive by , open mouthed and in awe, in 1970 when I used to live in the Avenue Rd. area in Toronto ON. I never did find out if it was chauffeur driven. From 1970 onwards , the Cadillacs went downhill in build quality. From 1968-1970 they were tops , though. I was lucky enough to own, and daily drive a 1968 2 dr Cadillac Calais.

Love this car! I've always liked the Cadillac's built from 1967 to 1970 a lot, those were IMO the best year's of the Cadillac's.

67 to 70 is fine but you can't stop at 70 it's through 72 they were phenomenal the 71's and 72's were awesome😊

when I was 12 years old in 1970 I did yard work for a dear lady friend in Tyler, Texas who owned a new 1970 Fleetwood from Wagner Cadillac Co. like this one in San Mateo Red (featured in several Cadillac magazine ads) with a black vinyl roof and this same black brocade interior design - I especially remember those high back front seats! The 1970 Cadillacs were a design refreshment of the all new 1969 models.. each Saturday after I’d finished the yard work she’d take myself and several of her grandchildren to Whataburger for lunch. It was a Saturday ritual I’ll never forget. Is this the original color of the car? According to the original PPG color charts I’m guessing it is either Candor Blue or Spartacus Firemist - the colors are so similar it’s hard to tell for sure

I owned a 68. The guy is absolutely right these cars as solid as a tank, you could land a plane on the hood, and they really do float down the road. They are living room sofas on wheels. They only draw back was that you could only get 180 miles out of a25 gallon tank.

as someone told me once, and I discovered when I owned a Cadillac, is Nothing rides like a Cadillac This is really nice, and one thing I always found interesting about the Fleetwood during these years was the foot rest for the back seat riders

I drive a 30 year old Cadillac every day. And I love it! And yesterday I was trying to figure out why it has no heat! And after that I have to install a new driver’s door power window motor. And soon it’s going to need an oil change. And then I need to change the engine coolant and clean the battery terminals. Constant maintenance and repairs are required to daily drive an old car. But I’m not complaining because there’s not a single new car out there that I could like better than my old Cadillac! Oh, and a year ago I had a transmission shop repair the transmission. It wasn’t shifting properly and needed two new shift solenoids. The repair was probably half the cost of just one month’s payment on a new car, so again, I’m not complaining!

Note to interviewer: You shouldn't be resting your elbow on the padded upper door panel BECAUSE at 5:00, I can already see the impression your arm left there. In few weeks time, it would leave a permanent defect. Bad habit!

Twin to the '69 model year (as Cadillac changed body stylings about every 2 years), but I prefer '69 as the front headlight/grill trim is more complete, and I don't care for the rear quarter side reflector lens on '70s models. However, this example is in superb condition, with an especially attractive shade of blue.
