Yup, with the VIN, you win: W for Dodge Coronet, P for Premium price class, 27 for two door convertible, G for 318 V8 with two barrel, 0 for 1970 model year, G for St. Louis, MO assembly (Fenton) and the rest is the production sequence. The Fenton plant complex operated from 1959 to 2009. We got the tag, we can brag: M21 for roof drip rail moldings, M25 for wide sill moldings, M31 for belt moldings, R11 for AM radio, 2 watt, Y16 for sales bank, V3X for Black convertible top, A01 for light group, A04 for basic radio group, G33 for outside remote LH racing mirror, J25 for three speed wipers, L31 for hood/fender mounted turn signals, EF8 for Dark Green exterior paint, D4X9 for Black interior trim, TX9 should be for black upper door trim, 203 for Tuesday February 3, 1970 scheduled production, E44 for 318 V8 with two barrel, D31 for A904 three speed automatic transmission, and END for end of sales codes.

I had a 69 Coronet R/T, R6 Rally Red with a 440 and 727 Transmission. The 69 Coronet R/T came with the fake vented hood bulge. I sold it in 1997 for $7,300. Worst decision I ever made.

Hindsight is always 20/20. I sold my home in Clark NJ late 2001 for $190K. Can't get one smaller or as nice for anything less than 1.5 Billion now. (Yes,a tad exaggerated)

Do all the mods but leave the emblems off. I'd rather have a really nice Coronet convertible than a fake R/T convertible. I'm not a fan of clones or tributes.
