What's the story on the conversion to convertible? Any footage on that?

The conversion had been done a long time ago. From what the owner told me, the top is from a Buick Skylark. The interior panels where modified to fit. They even put what looked to be the factory frame bracing on as well.

Where did you end up mounting the ECU, fuse box, and trans controller?

Above the Vintage air unit under the dash. If you pop the dash pad off it is all accessible

Do you have any notes on that wiring on that 70 monte? All the A body should have the same wiring. I'll be doing a 72 chevelle 6.0/4l80 swap coming up soon.

Is it better to go Silverado or corvette engine? Or does it make a big difference

Doesn't make too much of a difference. The corvette engine makes more power out of the box. At the end of the day it just comes down to the budget for the swap. If you can afford the more expensive corvette engine, then yes its worth it. However, depending on the price of the engine, you may be able to do a cammed silverado 6l and make more power than the corvette.
