Almost had me going, then he said 'Automatic', and my heart just broke. So it is NOT a real W-30, as they did NOT have any of the power options, like brakes, windows and Auto-trans

Most W-30s were automatics...same motor as the stick, just a slightly detuned cam. Same motor was available in the 70 Toronado. In 1977, I owned a 70 W-30 automatic, AC, PW, PB, PS. This was long before anyone made W-30 tributes.

@@clevlandblock NO you did not. The W-30 did NOT have those power accessories and features, especially the brakes, as the Cam WAS designed to NEED all the vacuum to make the engine run! YOU are NOT telling the truth! Shame on you.

Don’t know where you got that idea, they absolutely had those options available on a W-30, the only difference from the 4 speed to the automatic was the camshaft, the auto required more vacuum to operate, so the duration was a little different. You are totally incorrect, on every point, with the exception of the vacuum, and that was accomplished by using a different camshaft, as I pointed out earlier.
