I had this exact same Tonka firetruck when I was four or five years old back in the 70s. No idea what happened to it, but I like to think it's still around and either some kid is playing with it, or it's in somebody's collection. This brought a smile to my face, and made me more than a little nostalgic. Well done.

I used to have some of these steel Tonka trucks way back in the late 60's, us kids used to play with them outside in the dirt etc, Unfortunately kids aren't known for taking good care of stuff so many of these were left outside in the rain or lost etc. That goes for Redline Hot Wheels too, most of us had them from 68-71.

I was trying to find it on Google years ago, but I couldn't find that specific model, and now, seeing it again was fantastic !!! Thank you very much for fixing it and sharing all the awesome details 👏👏👏👏; I am a dentist and I love the restoration process.
