You provided the most important information I needed, the hack lever. I have the silver and the two tone variants ot this watch and when I serviced them I found the hack levers missing. I now know they probably did not have one. Thanks for this video.

I actually serviced and restored 3 eta 2800 series watches back to back . A bulova, Mido and the rado. I put hack levers in all 3 of them.

@@tundeogida9740 you can use either one. They are both the same, compatible parts, compatible movement. Make sure you learn how to adjust the movement correctly using the etachron system. Your movement will run much better, cleaner and you can adjust rate with in just a few seconds a day and keep amplitude at 300-315 degrees

The 2878 did not come with standard hack feature. Some did, some did not. The 2836-2 . All came hacking feature . You can add the part so it will hack . Also. The power reserve on the 2836- 2 is 42 hrs and the 2878 is 36. Other than that. They are both from the 2800 series family. So. Not to much us different.
