I like the arrow more since it looks more like a zipper. I really like the noise it makes too

The original Zippers were rim drive for the main axle and shaft driven on the outer axles. This one appears to be from the late 70's. This is a classic. There is a lot of character with the original lighting package.

My favorite ride to watch and one of my favorite songs

The tires should not squeal like that when they first engage. Unless it just rained and they haven't dried the rims off. If not, they need to put more air in the drive tires, or their electric motors aren't tight enough on the bull wheels. 8 years experience running a '76 Zipper.

I'd love to see one run at 11 & 7 rpms - I rode one a few years ago and remembered it being a lot faster when I was a kid. Adrenaline junky here... faster the better :)
@frost77243 жыл бұрын
yeah when the zipper starts operating how come it makes that high pitched squealing sound?

Seems they r all different in color & appointments. They must have had quite a selection of styles to choose from.

@@joshuamiller7839 From my experience, they only run it in one direction, but it runs very fast compared to newer models.

@@KingKidKobra_ yes that’s right! So, my mom is actually obsessed with this ride, she’s been riding this same one since she was in highschool, and the same dude with the ultra long ponytail and the other guy with the backwards hat are always running it, they have run it in both directions and given longer rides for her. Lol
