By far the greatest rock band of all time. Plant Page Bonham & Jones untouchable

Always seriously impressed how they could take a pretty and pensive acoustic number and turn it into a wonderful monster of a Rock song. The solo on this live was always awesome.

One of the most soothing songs ever by Led Zepp. Never stopped listening to the studio version....and now i've found the best live version, 10 years after it was posted on KZbin. Thanks for the post....you made my day.

I had never listened to this version. I remember years ago telling people about this song and nobody knew about it, everyone I asked, they had never heard it, it was really sad to see that so many people had missed out on this beaty.

This was played at my childhood best friends funeral. We were 17 and he was the best friend anyone could ever have! I balled like a little girl when they played this. I'd never heard the tune before that day and it just struck a nerve. The year I believe was 2008 he passed. Fentanyl ruined so many ppls lives and we were just getting into highschool at the time. The government were the biggest drug dealers at the time IMO.

I SAW LED ZEPPELIN AT NYC MSG JUNE 11TH 1977. I WISH THEY DONE THIS SONG. LAST TIME PERFORMED LIVE WAS 1973. MAN I WISH I COULD HAVE SEEN ONE SHOW FROM EVERY TOUR.

I was at one of the MSG shows in 77, the Band was wasted, esp. Mr Jimmy. I enjoyed it anyway, but many songs were butchered b/c the band wasn't "healthy".

This entire show in Montreux is great. The band is in sync, no mechanical problems, Charisma is a decent recording. I believe this is around the same time Jimmy and Bonham recorded Bonzo's Montreux that wound up on Coda.

@luvbasses5487Ай бұрын
Oh it’s not lost. It’s right here to be enjoyed in all its wonderful glory! John Paul was so good…he never even needed to be in a band - There was no denying Bonzo though and when he locked in with him on that fateful day in 1968 history changed forever.

I wish this kind of music would come back. Music now is all digital and people don't even play REAL instruments anymore, even vocals are mixed through a voice pitch processor to keep them on key and "in time." Even live shows have a hidden track playing with them, "buried" in the mix....
