Your definition of original motor is off a bit. Headers, aluminum heads, intake, carb, cam....

I have a 1971 c10 with the same two tone colors that has been sitting in my back yard since 2007. My dad said he was gonna sell it but I stepped in and basically told him I wanted it even though I’m 16 and don’t have a license or any experience besides coolant top ups. I’ve wanted it since I was a little kid but would have no idea where to start.

I just bought 2 c10's, a 68 and a 72. The 68 is is horrible shape...but the 72 is in great shape, no rust. the previous owner bought a short bed conversion kit and I'm not sure if I wanna use it. any thoughts?

You have the cousin to my old truck... I had a 71 GMC Sierra Grande (different grill and badges, tool box under the front left side of the bed and vinyl wood grain below the chrome). Otherwise pretty much the same. I bought it in ‘79 for $2500 and drove it until ‘88. Traded it in for $2000. Found out that a restoration shop bought it from the dealer for $5000... I had no idea how rare that truck was. I saw it at a car show a couple of years ago. The owner had a For Sale $25,000 sign in the window! Just wish I’d known then what I know now. Eric, yours is definitely worth saving IMHO.

William Harris I believe it! I’ve started looking at these old chevys online and if done right, they are bringing 40-50,000.

Just wish I had internet when I traded it in... might have kept it for my own project. Have a great Thanksgiving.

Right on! I've got a 68 with a 250 I6 that I want to get to one of these days. Wish mine had disc brakes and 5-bolt hubs. Maybe someday. Looking forward to the project! Hope you and your family had a good Thanksgiving! Thanks for the video! Really looking forward to seeing what you get done!

BurningDinosaurs thanks! I wouldn’t get your hopes up on seeing too much progress very fast, it’s probably going to be a pretty long term project

What are you going to do with the homeless rats? That was a sharp truck when you bought it! 305 would be the best.
@e.l.construction59455 жыл бұрын
Digginok I’m thinking about re-homing them at your place. A 305? That’s kinda boring
