I had a 1971 LS6 with Aluminum open chamber heads! Triple Black! What no one knows and my mentor STEVE from Ammity CHEVY. Told me all you need is 8 12.5 open chamber pistons and the ZL1 cam And you've got an LS7!!! the cheapest way to get the killer. My dad called it my death machine! So sorry I sold it! Had the M22 in it. Dad bought me a 1970.5 rs SS Camaro in 1976 for my graduation fro ISLIP HIGH! LT46 In that one. One can Read all of this in my critically acclaimed 1st book, ISLIP SPEEDWAY and the Two Six-packs, soon to be a major Motion picture...

Steve, those BFG Radial T/As are far from a performance tire! They’re all season hockey pucks that are rated for only ~110mph! Muscle cars easily trap higher than that. I suppose that they’re good compared to the original G70 15s but by modern standards, they’re scary.
