In the orginal phantasm and phantasm 2 and phantasm 5 the original car is a 1971 Plymouth barracuda then in the third and fourth phantasm they used the 70 Plymouth hemicuda convertible because the orginal 71 cuda was destroyed in phantasm 2 then brought back in 5 that's why they used a 70 cuda in the third and fourth film

One day you will. One day I will too. It just isn't time for us yet. Definitely a work of art. I'm 39, born in 81 and I love everything from before my time. I love old black and white TV shows and movies, old music, old cars, old guns and all kinds of old stuff. I have started my collection of old Colt and S&W revolvers and they look like a work of art too. I have a blued, snub nose model 15-3 with the panel grips and it looks ridiculously beautiful.

Resto mod started life with a 318. Be willing to bet the vin# reflects it. If you know cuda’s there’s clues to be seen. As for prior owner claimed 500+ hp? Without a dyno sheet the claim is meaningless. With that said it is a nice car but should be priced as a resto mod and not a pristine numbers matching car.

Cuda been sold. I was Reading Engine Specs and who in their Right Mind builds a street car engine with 13 to 1 Compression you have to run Race Gas or Add lots of Octane Boost because 91-93 octane pump gas aint going to cut it. Even with Aluminum Heads 10.5 ;1 Compression about Max Compression to run Pump Gas with out Pinging (Pre Ignition) and can still achieve 650 HP 600+ft lbs of Torque Especially with 490 CI Engine if you know what the F your doing .Orange Painted Aluminum Cylinder Heads ? Really! The Person who Buys this car can afford to buy 55 gallon Drums 110 octane Race Gas for it, Other than that Awesome Car Lucky F-er

His description of that motor and what I here tells me that his claim of 500+hp has to be at the wheels. That engine is putting out 600+ at the crank. He does not say which, but I will bet his number is supposed to be rwhp.

Damn, I'm sure people would think I'm crazy because I don't dig the Challengers and Barracudas from that era, I love a ton of old cars, but never liked those two. However, that being said I would absolutely buy this one. This video may be what gets me to like the Barracudas. I mean damn that looks amazing. Edit: Yep, this one not only made me look at the Barracudas differently and the Challengers. It's weird how I never liked either and after seeing this video enough times I love both now.
