That's why. They named them Leadsleds! Over 4,000 pds. It took a motor that big to get em' going. But after 60 mph. Look out! Couldn't get them to stop either. Drum brakes all around. Car graveyard here it comes. Shawn.

My personal favorite car is the 300 Hurst. My dad had one when I was young. He sold it for $900 to pay off a bill. Ain't that some shit. Yes there was some stuff wrong with it but damn, 900? Last I heard it was in Canada. Just hoping it got what it really needed and not sitting around in someone's field rotting. Anyway, like the car, sounds good, good color. Don't have too much fun in that thing.

Ah my late aunt had one just like this it took a while to get moving with the high rear end gears but man it moved when it got up to speed. That was her favorite car and when she wrecked it she didn't live too much longer

Sounds really good these cars were offered with two different engines both 440cubic inches both huge engines !! one making 335hp and the other 370hp

Looks like my Highshool teacher's old car. He died in like 2005 or so. His was green, 440. He was a large man just like his car. The SUV of 1970s. Everyone had a massive car.

They do, I'm not arguing, but just not as much. Then my LTD had maybe 60 horses to the wheel left and that wouldn't move the 4000lbs anywhere 😅 but those old boat ankers sure need rebuilding

Schönes brabbeln , was genaues für meine Ohren. Aber für den Unterhalt möcht ich lieber nicht zuständig sein. Bei uns in 🇩🇪 werden immer kleinere Motoren verbaut , klar , was natürlich auch totaler Blödsinn ist. Denn am Ende erreichen die ja keine ordentliche km - Laufleistung mehr.

Sprit geht schon ordentlich durch, klar, hält sich bei moderater Fahrweise aber auch in Grenzen. Versicherung und Steuer sind nicht so teuer
