Wow! That brings back some fond memories of my youth. We had a ‘67 w/250 Cummins and 10 Speed Spicer. I was just a kid riding shotgun with my Brother or Dad driving. Our interior was bone stock and that dog box would get scorching hot. Man what a view. Thanks for posting this. Funny thing back then I wished we had a conventional Pete but now 50 years later I wish I had that old Dodge.

That brand of truck right there is what got me hooked on big trucks. The only difference in the two is the one i first time rode in was a 1969! Model . I rode with my dads friend to winnie texas and loaded and delivered a load of rice to the grain elevator in the port of houston. From then on i was hooked on big trucks. That was in 1975.

These dodge trucks fascinate me to no end. As I understand, Dodge was a very late entrant to the Heavy Truck market, right before the oil embargo. They sold a handful of them and then decided it wasn't worth it. So this is truly a rare bird.

Dude...this is one hell of an awesome "ride back in time". I first saw a Dodge (sleeper) cabover in 1964 (when I was 13) on display at the New York World's Fair. The unit was at an exhibit sponsored by Allied Van Lines...I looked up at that truck with that big white steering wheel starin' at me through that remarkable flat windshield, and I "fell in love" with it. Amazing machine...
