The truck sounds good and doesn't seem to smoke at all, not sure i'd be doing doughnuts and other stuff, but I guess one day you'll grow out of it. Looking forward to seeing more videos to get it looking good again.

Sadly back in the early 90’s I worked at a scrap metal yard up in Largo Maryland .. We cut up and crushed 100’s of those GMC Astro’s… those trucks have alot I mean alot of aluminum. Most were old Giant Food fleet trucks ..Sears distribution trucks... Many Preston day cab ones. About 30 GMC generals too. Detroit blowers brought in alot of $$..none were save because they were wore slam out. I drove them old turds in the1980’s . Im paying for it with back issues.. y’all cant hurt that old or kill that Detroit (unless there is no oil in it) Yall didn’t even take it to the governor..even if there wasn’t set right it would go but so much because of valve float. Especially with no turbo on it.. They are tough trucks for sure even one I cut up still ran and had well over million miles on them. We did the same thing n an empty lot. Lots of good and bad memories 👍🏻😉😃

This 1972 Jim y needs To go to the drags,20 Or quicker inthe quarter mile, put some propane injection or nitrous but I don’t think it needs nitrousthe 10 s in the quarter mile,,, propane will get it into, take it to one f Cleetus and cars ,burn out truck,lol. @@GentrysWorlddrag truck it, you only need seat belts, and lug nut and battery hold down and a manual shut down fire extinguisher, if it gos fast than 10, seconds in the quarter mile then you’ll need a roll cage and her helmet, but it🎉will be doing good to go 20 seconds in the quarter mile 50 or 60 mile an hour ,take to the local dragstrip on the test and tune days or grudge night day in the winter and put it on the vlog,,,lol thanks BigAl California,praise Jesus Christ grace amen 🙏
