3 fixed-choke sidedrafts on a straight six make for a great road car, fantastic throttle response makes them far superior to triple SUs similar, and 40mm is a good size for road use. They sound wonderful too, with that distinctive warble of the induction pulses doing their thing!

Any idea what sort of increase in hp this created? Great car, btw. A buddy of mine owned one when we were in the Army. I owned two 280ZX and then a 300ZX.

Not a ton more power but noticeable. Sounds created by this instead of factory is 10000 times better.
