This is the bike I learned to ride on when I was 10 years old. I swear that thing was bulletproof.

Had a 1970. Ran the hell out of it. Burned a hole in the piston and pulled the cylinder off replaced it and ran it for at least another year. Great bike.

Not my first bike but I would say the first decent usable dirt bike I owned or at least share owned with my brothers. we literally road the paint off that thing,Suzuki quality.magic! seeing this bike like that is like having a time machine and going back to 1975

I used to help my buddy throw his paper route on one of those right before I shipped out in 74...too cool. Set the bags on the rack and rolled them around like a bandolier. *Lefty Thanks for the memory flashback kap!🇺🇸😎👍

Lord that brings back memories. Dad bought me one in 1972. It cost $425. I remember it sputtered badly and didn't run very good at all until I backed the carburetor air screw way out and dropped the needle all the way down and that cured my carburetor problems. I probably learned that from dirt bike magazine.

My very first bike was a TC 90. For years I thought it was orange but when I had to take the gas tank off I learned it was actually a very sun-faded red.

That looks like a 1972 model, going by the paint/graphics. I have the same bike, all original down to the tires, but mine only has 306 miles.

You’re absolutely right, I have 4 of these bikes and this is 100% a 1972, it was just probably built in 12/1972, which led them to believe it was a 73 model year. A 73 model year was not produced in these bikes, though.

I have two of probably the nicest tc90s left in the world. A 71 and 72 that are all original and in incredible condition with 1776 and 2150 miles respectively. The problem with your bike is that it’s restored, they are only original once.

There's a co-worker of mine that's selling one to me as soon as I get my tax return. It looks as beautiful as this one does. Same color and all. The only issues with it, he said, was that it needs to have a good carb clean and it doesn't have a title. Neither of those are an issue for me. I've just restored a 1976 Honda CB 125S and just had it titled, so that's good for trade or sale. Got a guy ready to trade me a 250cc scooter for it. The Suzuki, I think is a far better bike, being 2T, and a much better price, $100. I paid $300 for the Honda, but spent a whole year buying parts all around the world to put it back together. The Suzuki is all-original, don't need to buy a damn thing for it. Can't wait to get out and ride it.

My first real mini cycle, after a brigs and Stratton was a brand new Suzuki trail hopper 50 same color and everything, I was 11 years old in 1973! , then Suzuki goucho 50 , the " TC 185" YES, then tm 125 racing bike then Honda scrambler 175 , then Honda CR 400 then a Suzuki 550GL , then Honda Transalp, Kawasaki KLR 650 then 1986 BMW K100RS , then Triumph Tiger 900 (the new one) then 1999 Harley Davidson Roadking Clasic, then 04 HD Roadking Custom, then Back to a 2006 BMW K1200lt . and at age 57 , thinking of the next one!

My first bike was an orange version .. road in sand pit and trails endlessly .. the only real issues was the carb being on side for rotary valve caused sand and dirt to get in and make throttle stick

This one is a 1972, they were just mistaken because the bill date was December 1972 leading them to believe it was a 73 model year. A 73 model year was not produced for this bike.
