Great car. The red headed fellow shooting the video reminds me of JFK.

How much was the selling price? Did the customer buy it?

Nice car but this doesn’t appear to be an SD car. The decals were missing from the driver’s side valve cover. I couldn’t make out the head casting numbers.

Beautiful car - but the oversize repro Honeycombs look all wrong on the car.

This is not a real SD-455. Issues, radiator support sticker is on the wrong side and that Coolant sticker doesn't belong there. Wonderful piece of machinery if it was real , the SD 455 Pontiac. To this day, few only know its true presence and its bad news to the competition. Just noticed that an emissions vacuum port is missing on the driver's side intake manifold/carb. All of this is easy to correct and will be for any true SD 455 Pontiac engine. Yet, it does need its stock wheels. I prefer the Rally II's, Unfortunately for the exhaust on the F-body chassis, you can only really use the stock single muffler configuration because if you go to the 2 muffler set up like this one, its just gonna bottom out all the time, oh well that's how it is. Just saw now how that headliner was...WOW what a classic on F-body's ha ha. After thought, this is not an SD. Exhaust manifolds are wrong.....

Even the distributor is unique for the SD. cannot use a standard distributor. There was even a provision for a dry sump oil system. I bought 455SD rods for my 421SD back in the 70's. They say they were capable of over 1000 HP. I had to pay for 3.5 inches of Mallory Metal=$350 to balance the crank because the rods were so heavy. Amazing technology in the 455SD!

@@kevhauser For sure, it was. Today, I can not buy a distributor gasket for an SD....not available.....have to make one yourself. One of the best parts of the SD is that they ACTUALLY made it happen! Have owned my 74 SD for 15 years now. Originally I would have lusted for one when I was 16 years old back in 1974 except there was no money for that to ever happen ha ha.
