Anyone else watching this in 2019? Great video! I was 19 in 1975 and I remember this catalog.

So was my friend Daner Shelby Chancey. She went on a trip to Disney from NJ and the car ride was hell due to people arguing. What a bunch of stinkpots ruining the trip.

Hello everyone. Yes, this video is yet another in the 1975 Montgomery Ward catalog series. There is still one part to go after this video, which will finally conclude the series. It took longer than anticipated but I hope you all will have enjoyed the series. Look for camera and pen videos to soon follow as well as a chore video (air sensor on my truck engine needs cleaned). Thanks everyone for hanging out at my channel!

Hello sir. I just wanted you to consider my request, which is a "Electronics Math" book video, where you solve problems, equations, etc. Thank you, have a nice day. :)

Stuff like this hits on a bizarrely effective niche of 'just-banal-enough-that-I-can-tune-out-without-missing-much-but-interesting-enough-to-tune-in-too' that is perfect for falling asleep.

Your right on with the comment about boring your friends and neighbors to death with the slide shows. As a kid i remember those projector nights. It was only fun when the slide carousel jammed and everyone got a break from the nightmare. Keep up the good work , love the nostalgia

I would love the electronics book, even though I'm not such a fan of electronics, it would be nice to remember things about diodes, transistors, etc. Some math topics such as geometry, algebra or calculus, or physics topics, as mechanics or thermodynamics would be great! I know you just were playing with the book, but, hey, I left the idea here ;-)
@venusboys310 жыл бұрын
Agreed, some math videos would be quite nice.
@TheCinnaman12310 жыл бұрын
I completely agree. Actually, I was a little sad about the "choice" in the beginning, because I would definitely have chosen to look at that math book, despite it being a bit of a gag...

I think the old 8mm Montgomery Ward camera would be roughly $950, quite an expensive piece of kit! I've only ever worked with digital camcorders, would have been nice to experience the era of traditional film. Not used so much any more. Loving the catalog though - a blast from the past! Thanks

Yes, please do a video with that electronics math book! I think it's a great idea to look at some equations and maybe even solve some exercise problems. I really like nonfiction books like those, and math can also be enjoyable if it's not too abstract or rushed.

Although I thoroughly enjoy the Christmas catalog, I wouldn't have minded the electronics textbook either. If that had been a Statics or Reinforced Concrete book instead I might actually prefer it lol.

Is it possible to actually go through the electronics math book, that sounds really relaxing.
@felipegames1210 жыл бұрын
You have a lot of books about engineering and math, also, you know how to fix and build almost everything. The question is, did you use to or still work with something related to engineering? Thanks :)

Sorry if this has been answered before, but did you intentionally save this catalog knowing it would be interesting to look at in "the future"? Just curious!
@Lowfategg10 жыл бұрын
Ha, I think its funny how you think some people would not like asmr video based on engineering/science topics. I am a studying mechanical engineer and I would love to see some videos like this. One of the triggers I get is learning something new and interesting. Even basics would be cool (unless you want to do a video on advanced thermodynamics). :P
@Maren61710 жыл бұрын
And for me, the interesting, funny videos are often not boring enough for falling asleep I'd love some science book discussions! (I realize they can be interesting, but they presuppose existing knowledge I don't have, so it would just be pure relaxation for me.)
