Just picked one of these up from a local sale! Mint playfield and cabinet. Will clean up really well. Looking forward to playing it and setting it up in the "Chime Central" lineup. The color scheme on this version is far better than the SS version.

That glass is friggin awesome. If I ever have a chance to buy a SS version of this game I'm gonna see if one of the EM owners on pinside can take a nice pic for me. I would love to make a translite for the SS version. The plastics could use a little character too.

Great to see some more EM videos from you Rod. I'm not sure on the ins and outs of the rule set on this one, but it looks really good. I think I could easily spend time with it. Nice pop bumper caps and love the green. A shame it has such a low production run.

Jesder The rules are essentially "Bonus Builder" but with a twist. So the idea is to get the ball in the top right eject hole when the players hand is higher than the dealers hand. First time awards 2x, then 3x, 5x, EB and then Special. Of course they made a bunch of SS versions that shouldn't cost a mint. I'd probably pick one up at the right price as it ticks a few boxes for me :)

***** Yep the SS version would be worth owning, but I think it lost some of the art charm as the art is different from memory. I remember seeing a TNT video on it - Perhaps I was turned off at the time by the use of LEDs. At least they put the chimes on the SS version though.

Jesder Yeah the SS has blue cab instead of green. Totally different backglass with fluoro colours which I don't mind as it screams 70's to me. Playfield colours are also changed to fluoro to match the backglass. I've always wondered if the colours would pop under a blacklight. Would look amazing if it did.

PS: I use the names for the card-signs from the rollovers,wich we use in germany,where i come from. So i dont know if you use other names for the Cards - Karo,Heart (Herz),Pik,Cross (Kreuz).

Rules: All 4 Top Rollovers lite the Spinner for 1000 points per spin.heart & pik rollover lite the middle jet for 1000 points per hit.cross rollover lights the right and karo rollover lights the left bumper for 100 points per hit. Rollovers and red targets change players hand.Yellow targets change dealers hand.when the player (you) got 21 - shoot in the kickouthole to win one of 5 awards.Awards are: 1st win = 2x Bonus,2nd win = 3x Bonus,3rd win = 5x Bonus, 4th win = Extra Ball and at last -5th win = Special.when the dealer got 21 or nobody got 21 and you shoot the hole you get just 5000 points,but no award.when both dealer and player got 21 you stil win a award.Kickout Hole,Every 5th spin of the spinner,all rollovers and red targets advance bonus.I LOVE THIS RULESET,THATS THE REASON WHY I BOUGH MY SS BLACK JACK! :-)
