This beautiful 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible is amazing inside and out. With only 54k original miles, the car's overall condition is remarkable. It is a true unrestored survivor with all original Phoenician Ivory paint, Lt. Ivory-Gold leather interior, and an original Ivory top. The color, a rare triple ivory, has a very cool appearance. The car looks absolutely like new, with a showroom quality throughout. All the chrome, trim, and brightwork are original and shine like a diamond.
The interior is just as beautiful, featuring all-original supple, soft leather seats, carpeting, and even the original weatherstripping throughout. The trunk is in pristine, all-original condition as well. Under the hood, it's extremely clean, and the original 500ci V8 engine purrs like a kitten. It is far better to buy a slightly higher-mileage '76 Eldorado than the ultra-low-mileage ones, as they have been driven, used, and maintained, rather than just sitting around and deteriorating. This is the last year for the Eldorado Convertible, with only 14K produced.
You just don't find cars like this anymore, especially in this original condition. It was sold new at Key Cadillac in Edina, Minnesota, complete with its original pre-inspection delivery, business cards, owner's manual, and warranty card in the original owner's name. The car has spent most of its life in Scottsdale, AZ, and has had approximately three owners since new. With the second owner being a very well-known late collector, Wally Herman. The car was then sold to a gentleman in Scottsdale, who shipped it to the Midwest for the summers and back to Scottsdale for the winters. I bought the car from the family of the third owner. It has always been stored indoors and is completely rust-free. Overall, this is a spectacular and gorgeous car. Don't wait, as it won't last long and you'll never find another one like it again!
