Don’t think I have a market for merch. But I’m looking into it….

Eyyy first start is big progress! Not gonna lie, I think those fancy conversion fittings are your issue. Never had a problem with straight up fuel hose and ring clamps. AN is 2 pricey 4 me. Also the Corvette filter is a smart solution for fuel pressure otherwise you'll have to buy another very expensive item. You do you though. Awesome update!

The filter wasn’t even an issue the ends…very possibly. The line itself was what seemed like it degraded. Which is odd. Maybe sitting around in my house for a few months and from its original location caught up to it.

@@WelcomeToTheMadness That's very strange. Cheap line or brand name?
@WelcomeToTheMadness3 жыл бұрын
@@802Garage I have no idea, just regular fuel line that came in a kit that was sold on Ebay.
@802Garage3 жыл бұрын
@@WelcomeToTheMadness Ahh, probably cheap line then. I've seen the Chinese stuff fall apart fairly fast. Buy yourself a roll of Gates, Dayco, Continental, etc. Make sure it is EFI high pressure line not carburetor low pressure. If you're going AN of course then disregard but brand name line is def better there too, just expensive.

@@WelcomeToTheMadness By the way I've heard very good things about www.anhosefittings.com/ some of the best pricing on quality product with fast shipping and a good warranty.

That port @ 22:55 on the throttle body is going to be a vacuum leak if you do not at least plug it. Tough to tell what the other port was with the half second view of it, if it just opens up inside the valve cover it wont likely be a big deal to plug it as well, especially if there is a PCV system in place unless that is the PCV valve.
@TheCanadianBubba3 жыл бұрын
Great to hear it run ! that's half the battle man !

That proportionate valve..they make a plastic insert tool that screws in there to keep it from moving left or right .Basically just screw the factory switch out and screw it in the tool before Messing with the brakes..trust me been there and done that shit had me pissed off for weeks on my 87
@WelcomeToTheMadness3 жыл бұрын
I think I need to order one, that passenger side caliper was a pain in the ass and I still have to service the rear drums and replace that line before putting the bed back on it.
@BeardsandCars3 жыл бұрын
@@WelcomeToTheMadness I would definitely get one..trust me you definitely won't regret it.
@TheCanadianBubba3 жыл бұрын
@@WelcomeToTheMadness- That valve does not restrict flow. It shuttles the contactor one way or the other to make contact and light up the brake light on the cluster to warn you if the brake fluid is leaking. If the caliper is not releasing it is likely a problem in the flex line to that wheel. Keep at it, you will get it figured. You have so many upgrades on the go it is easy to get scrambled with it all.
