2nd violent roll over at Daytona ever. 15 times barrel rolling that's wild 😮😮😮😮😮

The actual rolls seem pretty similar to Maynard Troyer's flip in '71, wonder if John also clipped the apron to get on his side too

@@sludge8506 You may very well be right. The shop to which I delivered parts was south of Windsor. I think, maybe, their name was Bochamp. I don't rightly remember. I know the Son had a horrific crash. It all seems very familiar, very long ago. Sorry for the confusion. That terrible video brought back many very convoluted memories. My mind is not right.

The Banks family owned Banks Alignment which was located on Crawford Avenue in Windsor, ONT. and the Beauchamp race shop was located just south of McGregor, ONT on Walker Road and they ran in the Pintys Nascar Series in Canada.

@@guydemers7607 Hi, Guy. Thank You! It was about 30 years ago I was running auto parts out of Dorchester, ONT. for CANUSA. It was called the 'West Run'. I had about 60 stops a day on that route, Bank's Alignment was one of those stops along with the 'Beauchamp Race Shop' and many others. I knew I hadn't totally lost my mind!

Johnny Banks was Canadian but I'm assuming Tom Williams wasn't. The days when Dave Marcis was a genuine contender. Doc Faustina, a racing dentist twenty years before Dr. Jack Miller?

how many times did he actually flip..? bc i think he flipped 15 times
@NascarAllOut3 ай бұрын
15 flips is the magic number... that's how many times Maynard Troyer flipped in 1971. If Banks flipped more than 15 times this would be the biggest barrel roll in NASCAR history.
