I had a 78. Had it repainted baby blue and the vinyl roof painted black. Dropped a 350 in it. It looked sharp. I lost it during a storm. Not 1 but 2 trees fell on it. Was completely destroyed.

I realize his is an older post and the car is finished, so you may not see this. I had a '78 Regal for a number of years and and of course the rear bumper fillers had rotted away. Instead of buying the rear bumper fillers, On a tip from a friend that said he had done it, I went to the junkyard and bought a rear bumper from a '87 Regal. It is about 4 inches narrower than the stock bumper and fits like a glove. No need for a bumper filler as it fits flush with the body and looks sweet! Nice job on your Regal by the way.

Hi there and thanks for watching. In my case I bought the ABS plastic replacements which worked quite ok and looks OEM. For the front ones I have two spare set of the original rubber ones. Car has changed a little since the video. Now it has the original console and is now 4 speed stick shift Muncie Tranny. Maybe one of these days I will post an update,

Ebay, many years ago. It is from 1978-80 Regal Turbo. I still see them from time to time on Ebay.

Please check Ebay item number 184902774720. still available today June 28, 2021. Is listed as 1978-87 but I think 78-80 is different from 81-87 you must check according to your model year, Good luck,

They are both Toyota colors, the top black is Yaris 2008, the body and SS stripes charcoal gray is 2008 Scion, Thanks for watching,

I used 2008 Scion Flint Mica (1E0) for the sides and trunk, Scion Black Sand Pearl (209) for hood and top, sorry for such a late reply, Thanks for watching!!!

The rims are Camaro Iroc Z, Bought them on ebay. There are two versions and I have them both. The ones on the car are the early ones. Right now the car has the later ones, they look almost the same but with thin grooves. Will change my profile photo with the one depicting the car as it seats right know. I like what you did. You can see its a good quality paint job because he didnt just prime it and block it once but he went after the details and he didnt paint the entire car at the same time because he can touch the sides while painting the top. Great job. It reminds me when I use to do it at the shop.

very nice end result it looks great, I especially like the stripes very subtle. I love these older model Regals they are so under appreciated, I Get a lot of attention with my 78 T-Type at car shows you don't see these hardly at all however you do see the 81's and above and grand national clones. I had those IROC Camaro wheels on my 79 Regal Limited I kept cracking spacers but they look sexy. okay I'm inspired, time to work on my ride.
