The weather has been a nightmare, i had the old fibre cement box gutter crack that runs through my workshop causeing a flood ! Bodged up with acrypol now but I will in due course fiberglass it but i need a couple of dry days. As i understand it the old whs trowels were solid forged, the balance of the old ones is great. For lifting the glass a grabo suction lifter would be my first choice, im always using mine even used it last week to handle a belfast sink.

Silly question: What determines the buff or the golden mortar colour used for London brick? As mine always tends to be grey.
@Mr_A_Builders3 ай бұрын
Hello mate, not a silly question at all. It's the building sand. Some.oarts of the country have yellow building sand and some have red. In the Midlands it's red and mixed with normal cement it'll always go grey. I managed to get yellow from Wickes and used white cement for my chimney breast and fire place and it worked a treat!
